This morning, I believed I had secured and paid a deposit for a holiday rental. However, this evening, I still haven't received a confirmation email, which I thought would come through pretty fast after making the booking. Is that typical? I'm starting to worry that my reservation hasn't gone through, or maybe I overlooked something in the payment process. It's my first time using this service, and I'm anxious about my £690!

I made a reservation for 10 folks two nights back and sent the initial payment of £500.80 to the property owners via Holidu when I booked. The next day, I checked my reservation on the Holidu app only to discover that it had been cancelled without any heads-up or attempts to reach out to me! After contacting the rental agency directly, I learned that the property owners had stopped listing it for bookings ages ago, yet it’s still shown on the Holidu site! Now, I’m stuck waiting around for 5-10 working days to get my £500 back, all because Holidu hasn’t refreshed their list of available rentals. I’d definitely steer clear of booking through this third party in the future and would recommend going direct if you can!

It's pretty tough to make sense of the page for someone like me who's not exactly a tech whiz! My bad, I get that, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'll shoot you an email and fingers crossed I can get the booking sorted out. I was hoping to pay everything upfront, but I just couldn't figure out how to do it.

We discovered the perfect home, at the perfect cost, in the perfect location in Rye. The booking site was incredibly easy to use, and we couldn't be happier.

I arranged a weekend getaway via Holidu, but the following day I received an email stating there was a mix-up and the dates I selected were no longer open, leading to an immediate cancellation. Altido London informed me about some technical problems and then mentioned that the property owners were using the place. I had booked two nights in a lovely rural home in Suffolk, and as a substitute, they suggested I check out their listings for three nights in London. I felt really disappointed with both Holidu and Altido London; there was no empathy or concern for the fact that my first holiday had been scrapped, and they didn’t offer any additional assistance.

The spot was just right and the place was super clean. However, the kitchen was quite tiny. We didn't find any info pack that detailed local services or how to use the various appliances in the apartment, like the central heating, so drying our shower towels was a hassle since there were only two shower towels and one hand towel. Honestly, we felt there weren't enough towels. Plus, we had to shell out extra for car parking. Overall, we didn't feel the apartment was worth the price.

What a fantastic getaway! The place was well-equipped, tidy, and roomy with all the essentials we could ask for, like linens, towels, toilet paper, and even washing machine detergent. The host was super friendly and accommodating. It’s just a 20-minute stroll to several beaches, restaurants, and bars, so there’s loads to keep a family of five entertained, including SUPs, inflatables, and boat tours. The beaches were clean (no sand, though). The property is in a quiet area, except for the lovely church bells. No problems at all; I’d definitely come back to Malinska and would recommend it to others!

Our time at this seaside retreat was fantastic. It was super well-equipped and situated in a stunning spot. Perfect for catching sunsets, storms rolling in, and stargazing. The neighborhood seems to be a favorite among the French, with nearly everyone around being from France, which we really enjoyed. If you're an English traveler craving full English breakfasts and roast dinners, this ain't the spot for you.

We had a great time at this spot on Vista Lobos. The cozy complex was gated, making it feel pretty safe, and the apartment met all our requirements.

The folks at Solhabitat were super helpful and accommodating when we got there. The apartment matched the description on the site perfectly and suited our family's needs just right. Everything was in working order, and it was spotless. The pool and location were fantastic, perfect for Moriara and El Portet. We’ll surely book again!

Charming place, spotless and tidy. Great location close to some gorgeous beaches for the kiddos. A little welcome pack with some essentials would’ve been appreciated. After an 8-hour journey, we had to hit the store for tea bags and milk. We’d definitely suggest this property and hope to return someday.

An amazing, fully stocked place to stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. Two excellent showers. It's located in a super quiet neighborhood. A short stroll to the train station and the town.
